Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technician – Evening Shift

The Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technician – Evening Shift role is an onsite, 13-week assignment in Hyannis, MA. Pay is $1,300–$1,311 per week. The schedule is 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., five eight-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays; traveler candidates are required. The technician performs specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing, including EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress tests. The work supports laboratory and cardiology services through accurate testing, documentation, patient identification, and coordination with nursing units.

What you'll do

• Collect specimens and draw blood, then transport specimens to the laboratory
• perform EKGs, Holter monitor tests, and stress tests
• identify patients and provide collection instructions
• complete laboratory forms, test orders, billing information, and documentation
• assist nursing units
• resolve collection issues
• maintain testing areas, equipment, and supplies
• follow PPE, patient-safety, and infection-control procedures.
