Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Clerk role is onsite in Canton, MI. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. Compensation is $18.50 per hour. Apex Placement & Consulting is recruiting for a warehouse role supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. The clerk maintains accurate inventory and shipping records while helping materials move through receiving, staging, and shipment. The role supports warehouse accuracy and safe, organized operations through data entry, paperwork processing, and communication with drivers and warehouse teams.

What you'll do

• Enter and maintain inventory, shipping, and receiving information
• process related paperwork
• receive materials and verify quantities
• prepare shipping labels and documents
• assist with inventory and cycle counts
• update records and report discrepancies
• scan, label, and organize materials
• assist with shipping, receiving, and staging orders
• communicate with drivers, warehouse employees, and other departments
• help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.

Why this role

Previous warehouse experience is not required. Strong computer skills and previous forklift experience are required; high school diploma or GED is preferred. Contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance, attendance, and business need.
