Northeast Field Service Technician — Water Technologies

The Northeast Field Service Technician role is remote and travel-based, supporting the Northeast Region, with candidates required to reside in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island. The stated salary range is $60,000–$75,000 annually plus additional variable compensation. Veolia’s water technology business supports water quality, productivity, and resource sustainability. The technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and calibrates laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities. The role supports research, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and industrial customers by restoring equipment performance, providing technical guidance, and responding to service needs across the assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems
• perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, software updates, and operational verification
• diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures
• replace defective components
• complete service and calibration documentation
• prepare quotations for repairs and maintenance agreements
• identify maintenance agreement renewals
• train customers on system operation and maintenance
• respond to emergency service requests
• maintain tools, test equipment, inventory, and vehicle
• comply with safety policies
• participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
• collaborate with technical support and engineering.
