Compensation is $2,398 per hour. The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) — Travel Assignment is onsite in Columbia, MO, with stated guaranteed hours of 36 hours per week; The role is a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced adult community emergency department with 16 beds and approximately 25,000 cases annually. The nurse provides emergency care and supports the department's patient-care needs, using the listed assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills. The posting requires strong emergency department experience, an active state RN license, and at least three years of experience; travelers may be downstaffed from 36 or 48 hours depending on the facility's weekly schedule.

What you'll do

• Provide emergency department nursing care
• use IV insertion, PICC/central line management, 12-lead EKG, telemetry interpretation, cardioversion/defibrillation, procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and tracheostomy care skills
• collaborate with the care team. BLS/BCLS and ACLS are listed certifications.
