The Telecommunications Engineer — DPRI / Range Systems role is full-time onsite in Corona, CA, for $110,000–$125,000 per year. The engineer supports the Defense Policy Review Initiative and NSWC Corona Range Systems Department. Saalex provides engineering, information technology, logistics, and data services. The role designs, integrates, installs, tests, modernizes, and sustains communications systems and infrastructure. It contributes to reliable range communications through engineering plans, site assessments, technical documentation, and coordination with project and installation teams.

What you'll do

• Perform telecommunications and facilities engineering for DPRI C4/IT infrastructure
• develop system diagrams, schematics, network architectures, and site plans
• support acquisition and integration planning
• coordinate installation, testing, evaluation, and acceptance
• conduct site surveys and technical assessments
• prepare engineering reports, implementation plans, and bills of material
• support RF, microwave, satellite, tactical radio, fiber, Ethernet, and terrestrial systems
• collaborate with project and technical teams.
