What you'll do

• Set, align, and secure concrete forms
• read blueprints, grade stakes, elevations, and construction drawings
• prepare subgrades and assist with layout
• place, spread, screed, and finish concrete
• perform floating, edging, jointing, broom finishing, and troweling
• assist with curbs, gutters, sidewalks, foundations, slabs, and paving
• operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment
• follow curing and protection procedures
• maintain a safe, clean work area
• coordinate with crew members, equipment operators, and supervisors.
