What you'll do

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and mechanical and electrical equipment, including turbines, generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, and auxiliary systems. Start up, operate, and shut down equipment according to approved procedures and control room direction
• monitor and record operating parameters
• report equipment issues and unusual conditions
• support preventive and corrective maintenance
• respond to chemical spills and leaks
• operate breakers and switches as directed
• conduct shift handoffs and equipment tests
• handle fuel transfers
• and operate fire equipment as directed.

Why this role

High school diploma required; technical or associate degree in engineering preferred. Requires two years of related industry experience, relevant plant systems experience, and a current Puerto Rico driver’s license; ability and availability to obtain TWIC credentials required.
