Accounts Receivable Clerk

The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is onsite in El Monte, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $24 to $28 per hour. Mutual Trading supplies Japanese foods, beverages, restaurant equipment, and supplies. The clerk supports the company’s payment operations by handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, maintaining accurate records, and helping resolve payment discrepancies. The work helps keep vendor payments and customer collections timely and financial information organized.

What you'll do

• Process manual and wire payments
• review invoices and update company records
• monitor vendor payments and resolve accounts payable discrepancies
• maintain vendor files and 1099s
• generate banking reports
• post customer payments
• coordinate with banks and sales teams on collections
• verify electronic transfers and card payments
• review receivables and reconcile discrepancies
• create credit memos
• work with collection agencies on delinquent payments.

Why this role
