Staff Accountant

Job overview

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Chandler, AZ, with an annual pay range of $65,000–$70,000. VB Cosmetics is a growing cosmetics company, and this role reports to the Accounting Manager. The accountant manages customer accounts receivable and supports process improvements and company projects. As accounts receivable automation expands, the role also takes on assigned monthly close, reconciliation, inventory, and production accounting responsibilities to support accurate financial reporting.

What you'll do

• Manage customer credit functions, credit checks, application decisions, aging reports, and collections
• post credit notes
• create bank deposits and match cash receipts to invoices
• maintain sales tax exemption certificates
• invoice shipped Net 30 orders and research discrepancies
• respond to customer information requests
• recommend and implement accounts receivable process improvements
• support monthly financial close and subledger reconciliations
• assist with inventory costing, production accounting, margin analysis, and other assigned projects.

Why this role
