The Senior Environmental Engineer – Days role is onsite at a chemical plant in Houston, TX, with a Monday–Friday day schedule. Compensation is $120,000–$135,000 per year plus a 10% annual bonus target; a sign-on bonus is available. The role is the site subject matter expert for air compliance and part of a seven-person HESQ team.

What you'll do

• Lead site air compliance, emissions calculations, and permitting strategy
• prepare air permit applications, modifications, and renewals, including NSR permits
• support water and waste compliance
• submit regulatory reports and lead audits
• manage LDAR monitoring, testing, and waste disposal
• train plant personnel
• advise on management of change, capital requests, and SOPs
• coordinate environmental sampling
• and report environmental, energy, and sustainability KPIs.
