What you'll do

• Issue purchase orders for tooling, MRO supplies, and services
• monitor supplier performance, delivery dates, and order status
• expedite late or critical shipments
• communicate with suppliers about pricing, lead times, shortages, and quality
• negotiate pricing and terms
• maintain purchasing records in MRP systems
• resolve invoice, shipping, and receiving discrepancies
• support cost reduction and supplier improvement
• follow purchasing policies.
