CDL-A Shuttle Driver

Job overview

Compensation is $2,300–$3,000 per year. The CDL-A Shuttle Driver role is an onsite position based in Derby, OH. , and this role supports the distribution operations of Mclane Company, Inc. This role is responsible for the efficient delivery of full trailers to the domicile and the return of empty trailers to the distribution center. The driver ensures product security, maintains accurate DOT logs, and performs necessary vehicle inspections to ensure safe and compliant transport.

What you'll do

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May at times perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
