Project Lead – Architecture

Job overview

The Project Lead – Architecture role is onsite in Victor, NY; compensation is not specified. The position supports APD’s architectural department and its commercial and retail design projects. The role leads technical project work from concept through completion, coordinating design documentation, project schedules, and cross-disciplinary teams. It also mentors junior staff and helps ensure that designs meet project specifications, codes, and client expectations.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with architects and designers to develop construction documents
• participate in conceptual design and support projects through completion
• provide technical leadership
• review reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
• lead architectural drawing production using AutoCAD or Revit
• mentor junior staff
• coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors
• assist with schedules, budgets, and resources
• review code and specification compliance
• participate in site visits, client meetings, design reviews, and construction documentation
• organize project files and revisions.
