The Phlebotomist - Clinic role is an onsite position based in Champaign, IL. , with a provided range of $17.46/hr to $28.29/hr, and this role supports the Ambulatory Phlebotomy team at Carle Health. This role exists to perform venipuncture, skin puncture, EKG, and point-of-care testing for patients in an ambulatory setting. The Phlebotomist ensures quality by verifying patient identification and specimen labeling while maintaining accurate documentation in the laboratory information system.

What you'll do

• Performs venipuncture, finger and heel sticks, and blood cultures.
• Processes point-of-care testing and EKGs.
• Registers patients and enters lab orders into the Epic system.
• Maintains laboratory and organizational policies and procedures.
