Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is onsite in Dania Beach, FL, with a schedule of 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $30–$32 per hour. AKAM provides financial oversight, operations management, and related services to condominium, cooperative, homeowners association, and investment property clients. The role supports the Accounting team by maintaining accurate receivables and billing processes. It handles collections, account reconciliation, invoice generation, payment processing, and customer inquiries to help resolve account issues and keep receivables current.

What you'll do

• Maintain the billing system and customer files
• follow up on and allocate payments
• conduct billing, collection, and reporting activities by deadlines
• reconcile accounts
• monitor accounts for delayed or missing payments and irregularities
• process receipts and adjustments
• prepare bank deposits
• investigate customer queries
• and communicate with customers by phone, email, mail, or in person.
