Tube Mill Assistant

The Tube Mill Assistant role is onsite in Twinsburg, OH, and pays $18 per hour. The temporary-to-hire opportunity is with a manufacturer in the steel tube industry, supporting safe and productive production operations. The assistant supports the Cut Off Operator and Tube Mill Operator in processing steel tubes. The role contributes to production quality and efficiency through equipment support, material handling, packaging, inventory organization, and adherence to safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist with safe processing of steel tubes
• monitor emergency stops, pinch points, light curtains, and other safety considerations
• set up and maintain operational checklists
• handle banding and packaging tools and supplies
• store and tag tubes
• assist with cutting and staging wood and racks
• assist with tube blowouts, raft changes, and roll changes
• keep work areas clean and organized
• perform equipment checks before operation.
