Program Director

The Program Director role is onsite in Columbia, TN, with stated pay of $15–$17 per hour. Boys & Girls Clubs of South-Central Tennessee works to help young people succeed by providing hope and opportunity. The role oversees daily youth programming and site operations for members ages 5–18, supporting academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. It supervises staff and volunteers, maintains safety and program quality, and coordinates with families, schools, and community partners.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily youth development programs and activities
• support program coordinators and evaluate outcomes
• track attendance and tutoring hours
• supervise, coach, and train staff and volunteers
• maintain staff-to-child ratios and safety procedures
• process membership applications and records
• monitor attendance and contact parents
• collect fees and submit reports
• coordinate with school administration
• manage approved program expenditures
• provide site coverage as assigned.

Why this role

The role requires a reliable vehicle for travel between Club sites and the ability to upgrade to a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement and operate a full-sized school bus within the first 90 days. CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are required within 90 days.
