Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Kent, WA, with hourly pay of $24–$26 based on experience. Axis Residential manages multifamily and senior housing communities; this position supports Affinity at Covington, a 55-and-older active adult community. The technician handles assigned maintenance requests and preventive work to keep community facilities and apartments safe and in good repair. Responsive service and resident rapport help maintain a supportive home environment.

What you'll do

• Respond to service requests and work orders
• assist with building and grounds inspections
• perform or assist with plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, appliance, and apartment-turnover work
• maintain grounds and clear walkways of hazards
• assist with lighting, painting, filters, pool equipment, and community-owned equipment
• follow preventive maintenance schedules and company policies.
