Housekeeper — Detox and Residential Facility

The Housekeeper role is onsite in Norfolk, VA, with pay of $16–$19 per hour. The position supports cleanliness and upkeep at Avenues Recovery’s detox and residential facility. The housekeeper maintains the property and facility through routine custodial work, including cleaning, restocking, waste removal, and bedding tasks. Daily, weekly, and monthly checklists help ensure the facility remains clean and functional, while activity reports and escalation of concerns support facility operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain cleanliness and smooth function of the property and plant
• perform custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage, and handling bedding
• provide operational support as required by the Executive Director
• complete daily, weekly, and monthly upkeep checklists
• report completed activities and escalate concerns to the Executive Director.
