The Registered Nurse role is onsite in Baltimore, MD. Compensation is $99,000–$103,000 per year. PACE of West Baltimore provides integrated, home- and community-based care intended to help seniors remain independent and part of their communities as long as safely possible. Under the Clinic Manager’s supervision, the nurse provides skilled care to participants and works with the interdisciplinary team, families, and caregivers to support care-plan goals. The role contributes through clinical services, medication coordination, documentation, participant education, and communication about health conditions and treatment.

What you'll do

• Provide skilled nursing care
• perform blood draws and laboratory testing, medical management, IV therapies, and wound care as directed by medical providers
• document test results and examinations in the EMR
• implement provider orders
• reconcile medications and communicate with facilities and pharmacies
• educate families and caregivers about medications and treatment
• observe, record, and report participant conditions and reactions
• follow safety, confidentiality, and infection-control practices.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program, an active Maryland professional license, and one year of healthcare experience including one year with a frail or elderly population. A current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance are also required.
