Machine Operator

Job overview

The Machine Operator works onsite in Gastonia, NC, on 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; starting pay is $17 per hour. The role supports production at Metyx USA. What you'll do

• Inspect the machine and work area at shift start
• verify shift logs, materials, tools, and finished-goods labels
• check work orders, material quantities, sizes, and special instructions
• ensure samples are approved by quality
• record production measurements and material lot and pallet numbers
• monitor machine operation and material feed
• maintain creels and notify the warehouse or lead when materials are needed
• prepare, weigh, measure, wrap, label, and palletize finished rolls
• clean the machine and work area
• document production and report damage or safety issues
• coach and train others as needed.
