What you'll do

• Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals
• perform physical exams and obtain health histories
• provide health promotion, counseling, and education
• administer medications, wound care, and other interventions
• direct and supervise care by other healthcare professionals
• make patient-care assignments based on scope and skill
• recognize adverse signs and respond to emergencies
• arrange referrals and specialty care
• conduct research supporting practice and patient outcomes.
