Quality Inspector

What you'll do

• Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections and tests of equipment manufactured at Powell facilities
• program and operate electronic equipment such as microprocessor-based relays
• energize electrical products and related equipment
• investigate equipment failures and conduct root-cause analysis
• complete and maintain quality control test documentation
• maintain test equipment
• use meters, voltage detectors, Hi-Pot equipment, and other test tools
• work with departments and customers to resolve quality issues
• record engineering and shop discrepancies, nonconformities, and material shortages
• participate in continuous improvement
• promote safety and follow standard work instructions
• maintain clean and organized work areas.
