Adolescent and Family Services Clinician

Job overview

The Adolescent and Family Services Clinician role is onsite in New York, New York, with counseling services delivered in person and virtually. Compensation is stated as $31.79–$38.46 per hour. The clinician supports the Center for Recovery and Wellness at Educational Alliance, which provides community programs and services in Lower Manhattan. The clinician provides person-centered, trauma-informed counseling for adolescents and families in an outpatient treatment program, primarily addressing adolescent substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, and family systems. The role also supports adult clients and family members through treatment planning, coordinated services, documentation, and clinical communication.

What you'll do

• Provide weekly individual counseling and family sessions
• assess treatment level
• coordinate integrated services with medical, mental health, housing, vocational, and recovery providers
• complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans
• maintain compliant clinical charts and reports
• engage families and referents
• support individual and group interventions as needed.
