Compensation is not specified. The role supports Utah Valley Pediatrics’ pediatric team in delivering care to children. The assistant prepares patients for exams, supports providers during examinations and procedures, performs basic tests and specimen collection, and maintains clean exam rooms and equipment. Administrative work and family education help the team coordinate care and communicate with parents and guardians.

What you'll do

• Greet patients and families
• prepare patients for exams and procedures
• take vital signs and measurements and document medical history
• assist pediatricians or nurse practitioners
• administer immunizations and medications as directed
• perform basic lab tests and collect specimens
• maintain clean and sterile exam rooms and equipment
• schedule appointments, manage follow-up, and document in electronic health records
• handle calls and relay messages
• educate parents and guardians about child health and prescribed treatments.

Why this role
