What you'll do

• Direct housekeeping staff through coaching, counseling, guidance, and work correction
• establish work standards and procedures and plan schedules and daily assignments
• manage department finances, budgets, productivity, labor costs, and reports
• inspect and evaluate rooms, public areas, facilities, and VIP rooms
• recommend painting, repairs, furnishings, equipment relocation, and space reallocation, and follow up on engineering work orders
• enforce procedures for guest lost-and-found items
• use company tools and systems
• maintain supplies and conduct monthly inventories
• monitor cleaning chemical use, train employees, and ensure hazardous supplies are labeled under the property HazMat program
• evaluate furniture, fixtures, and decor and assist with rehabilitation projects.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of progressive hotel or related experience, prior Executive Housekeeper experience, housekeeping team leadership, brand-standards experience, proficiency with Microsoft 365 or similar applications, and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
