The associate joins Vestwell’s Legal and Compliance Team, supporting its financial savings platform. The associate monitors fraud and anti-money-laundering risk across Vestwell’s business lines by analyzing alerts, investigating suspicious activity, interpreting regulations, and preparing escalations and reports. The role collaborates with Client, Operations, and Services teams and contributes to process and platform improvements as the company scales.

What you'll do

• Analyze fraud indicators and surveillance reports
• identify emerging fraud patterns
• interpret applicable financial-crimes and anti-money-laundering regulations
• review and research escalated alerts
• prepare escalation memos
• collaborate on inquiries and issue resolution
• maintain investigation records and reporting data
• improve procedures, workflows, and platform features
• support Legal and Compliance initiatives.
