Window and Door Install Technician

Job overview

The Window and Door Install Technician role is onsite and on the road from the Mason City, IA location, with pay of $18–$24 per hour and expected hours of 40 or more per week. The technician represents WINDOW BY PELLA INC at customer jobsites. The role removes existing products and installs windows and doors to published installation guidelines and quality standards. It contributes to customer satisfaction through careful workmanship, jobsite cleanup, product protection, and clear communication with customers and warehouse staff.

What you'll do

• Travel to jobsites in the branch territory
• read work orders and specifications
• remove existing windows and doors
• measure and prepare openings
• secure and install products and hardware
• patch drywall as required
• install metal framing and decorative trim
• clean jobsites
• communicate with customers
• conduct second measures or field inspections as required
• coordinate product scanning and returns
• maintain tools and follow safety requirements.
