The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Olathe, KS, with compensation of $17.10–$21.00 per hour. Children of America is a nationally accredited preschool with programs serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years. The Lead Teacher carries out daily lesson plans and leads classroom instruction using the Mind and Body Matters curriculum. The role supports a safe, structured learning environment and communicates with children, parents, and teaching staff to support children’s progress.

What you'll do

• Carry out daily lesson plans
• help create a safe, structured, positive learning environment
• communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members
• use technology to document and deliver child progress reports
• set age-appropriate expectations
• lead classroom instruction using COA’s Mind and Body Matters curriculum.
