The Plant Operator role is onsite at the plant in downtown Houston, TX, with pay of $31.83–$35.10 per hour. The role supports CenTrio’s Houston Plant Operations and its central utility infrastructure. The operator helps maintain reliable plant and building mechanical-system operations by monitoring performance, supporting maintenance and troubleshooting, and responding to outages. The position requires rotating shift work and availability on a 24-hour basis for emergencies and shift-rotation vacancies as directed.

What you'll do

• Operate central utility plant facilities
• coordinate daily operations and planned or unplanned maintenance with building engineers
• support maintenance programs
• troubleshoot plant, distribution, interface, and energy-transfer systems
• monitor production and system performance
• investigate and report outages
• calibrate and troubleshoot automation, power, and interface systems
• log operational status
• perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
