The Teacher Aide, Ages 0–5 role is onsite in the Linn and Benton County service area, with recruitment covering Albany and Corvallis/Philomath as openings occur. Compensation is $18.01 per hour, with a 6% increase available for Spanish/English bilingual skills. Kids & Company of Linn County serves children and families through a mission-driven organization. As part of the education team, the aide supports classroom operations and promotes Head Start children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The role assists with classroom activities, supervision, safe learning spaces, and positive engagement with children and families.

What you'll do

• Prepare classroom materials
• follow the classroom schedule and support activities and transitions
• help maintain a developmentally appropriate and safe environment
• support parental involvement
• guide and supervise children individually and in groups
• complete classroom and center cleaning tasks as directed
• attend program meetings as requested
• follow conduct and confidentiality policies.
