Resident Coordinator, The Nest (Part-Time)

The Resident Coordinator, The Nest (Part-Time) is an onsite role in Inglewood, CA, scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Compensation is $22.00 per hour. Safe Place for Youth provides services to young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness through a continuum of outreach, wellness, case management, education, employment, and housing programs. The role supports residents’ safety and progress toward independent living by providing guidance, coaching, crisis support, and coordinated daily operations at The Nest.

What you'll do

• Conduct resident room, developmental, and safety checks
• document safety and progress
• provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, mediation, and referrals
• facilitate life-skills workshops and community activities
• support intakes, move-ins, exits, and resident documentation
• maintain safe, clean, organized site operations and supplies
• coordinate food resources and transportation
• collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
