Industrial Painter — Powder-Coat Assembly Line

The Industrial Painter works onsite in Buffalo, NY, on a Monday–Thursday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; overtime may be needed on Friday and sometimes Saturday. Pay is $18–$22 per hour. Zehnder Rittling’s manufacturing team relies on this role to meet production goals and finish specifications. The painter prepares and operates powder-coating equipment to apply finishes that meet color and coating-thickness requirements. The work supports consistent product quality while maintaining safe, orderly production processes.

What you'll do

• Load paint into hoppers and select programs for manual and automatic guns
• prepare the paint line and load powder colors
• monitor process controls and coating coverage
• track paint inventory and advise appropriate personnel when restocking is needed
• clean equipment, booth, and surrounding area
• use required personal protective equipment
• perform preventive maintenance in other department areas when needed
• identify and help eliminate waste.
