What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
• obtain and document vital signs, histories, medications, and chief complaints
• perform in-scope clinical procedures such as specimen collection, injections, point-of-care testing, and EKGs as appropriate
• process specimens
• maintain EHR documentation
• coordinate appointments, referrals, testing, and follow-up
• provide directed patient education
• maintain examination rooms and supplies
• support medication reconciliation and prescription refills
• follow infection prevention, safety, confidentiality, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
