Shopify Frontend Full Stack Engineer

The Shopify Frontend Full Stack Engineer role is remote-first, with optional in-person collaboration in Napa and the Bay Area, California. Compensation is $120,000–$135,000 per year, plus bonus potential. Last Bottle Wines is a direct-to-consumer wine retailer operating more than two dozen Shopify storefronts across multiple brands. The engineer owns and develops the storefront layer and related integrations, helping bring technical work in-house and support a multi-brand commerce operation. The role spans Shopify themes and extensions, APIs, backend services, order and shipping integrations, data pipelines, and technical operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Shopify Liquid themes, Shopify Functions, and Checkout Extensions
• manage product metafield and metaobject schemas and multi-storefront deployments
• build Python and React middleware
• develop webhook consumers and GraphQL integrations
• extend Linnworks OMS and shipping integrations
• maintain Python data pipelines and analytics instrumentation
• conduct vendor security reviews and app audits
• document architecture and runbooks
• support DTC compliance tooling.
