Building Engineer – Facilities Operations

Job overview

The Building Engineer – Facilities Operations role is onsite in El Segundo, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pay is $46.26–$54.47 per hour. The position supports building systems and facility operations. The engineer maintains safe, functional, and compliant facilities by inspecting and repairing building systems, responding to service needs, coordinating vendors, and supporting improvement projects and operational procedures.

What you'll do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• troubleshoot building system malfunctions
• respond to service requests and emergencies during and after business hours
• coordinate service calls and vendors
• monitor building management systems
• maintain maintenance and equipment records
• support capital improvements and renovations
• conduct safety inspections and follow applicable regulations.
