County Rescue Services provides 911 coverage across Northeast Wisconsin and emergent and non-emergent interfacility patient transports. The EMT/AEMT provides safe, timely patient transport and care within Wisconsin scope of practice, agency protocols, and medical direction. The role supports community health and safety through patient assessment and intervention, coordination with care and public safety staff, and accurate clinical and operational documentation.

What you'll do

• Transport ill or injured patients and provide care within scope of practice, protocols, and medical direction
• communicate with healthcare and public safety staff
• assess patients, plan and deliver interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness
• safely operate response vehicles
• complete patient care reports
• clean, inventory, and perform minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• maintain effective working relationships.

Why this role

Full-time staff work rotating 24-hour shifts; part-time staff may choose 12- or 24-hour shifts. A current Wisconsin EMT or AEMT license, CPR certification, and valid driver’s license are required.
