The veterinarian evaluates and treats emergency cases, communicates diagnoses and treatment options to clients, and performs emergency procedures while contributing to a team-based, customer-focused hospital experience.

What you'll do

• Answer medical questions by phone
• triage and examine patients
• gather histories, vitals, and physical exam findings
• conduct diagnostic measures such as ultrasound, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies
• diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
• communicate options and estimates to clients
• maintain medical records
• perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
• educate clients on aftercare and prevention.
