What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, and operate metal stamping presses
• load metal coils and position materials in automatic feeding systems
• adjust equipment and feeding mechanisms
• verify machine readiness
• troubleshoot feeding problems, jams, and defects
• perform minor mechanical adjustments and coordinate complex repairs
• read blueprints and production instructions
• inspect products with precision measuring tools
• complete production and inspection records
• clean and lubricate presses
• assist and guide other operators as needed
• follow safety and quality standards.
