Material Handler

The Material Handler role is onsite in Channahon, IL. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour. Valto, Inc. makes fiber-reinforced polymer composite panels and related products for building materials, recreational vehicles, and transportation. The role supports manufacturing operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking, and distributing materials and inventory. Accurate inventory control, safe equipment operation, and timely delivery of materials help keep production supplied and the warehouse organized.

What you'll do

• Receive, inspect, count, and unload incoming materials
• operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to transport, store, and issue materials
• maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory transactions
• organize the warehouse and follow 5S and safe-storage practices
• coordinate shipping orders through final loading
• handle returned goods authorizations and related claims.
