What you'll do

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures
• assist dentists and specialists during examinations and procedures
• take and prepare dental X-rays and diagnostic records when permitted by state regulations and credentials
• guide patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• maintain infection control, sterilization, and safety standards
• maintain instruments and supplies
• support an organized clinical environment.
