The Machine Operator — Graveyard Shift role is onsite in Toppenish, WA, working 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Pay is $19.42–$22.00 per hour. Portco Packaging makes packaging products, and the operator works with a team to provide quality products to customers. The operator sets up and runs production machinery, monitors product quality, follows work orders and standard procedures, completes quality-control records, and follows safety and food-quality policies. The role also includes training assistants and covering for other operators when needed.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate machinery to meet quality and speed standards
• achieve production and setup standards
• read work orders and related SOPs
• monitor bags during production for quality-control tasks
• perform startup, cleanup, and shutdown procedures
• maintain QC database records
• follow food safety and quality policies and test methods
• report safety issues
• train assistants
• cover for other operators during absences.
