Test Engineer

Job overview

The Test Engineer role is onsite in Everett, WA, with compensation of $110,000–$160,000 per year. magniX develops electric powertrain technology, batteries, power electronics, and related solutions for aerospace and other mission-critical applications. The engineer develops and executes tests for electric powertrain validation, FAA Part 33 certification, production acceptance, and in-service performance improvements. The role works across engineering, manufacturing, and certification teams to produce reliable test data and support safe, efficient testing.

What you'll do

• Define test setups and data requirements
• develop test plans, instructions, reports, and datasets
• design and maintain instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• develop test-cell control and data software
• commission high-power electrical test equipment
• operate dynamometer and propeller test cells
• support FAA compliance testing, flight-test activities, and program reporting.
