Line Operator

Job overview

The Line Operator role is onsite at a yogurt processing facility in Winchester, VA, with pay of $20–$24 per hour plus a benefits package. Desi Fresh Foods manufactures cultured dairy products, including yogurt, smoothies and yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips. The operator runs and monitors filling machines to package yogurt products accurately and efficiently. The role supports production quality and safety through inspections, weight checks, adherence to standard operating procedures, and coordination with quality assurance and maintenance teams.

What you'll do

• Operate filling machines according to standard operating procedures
• monitor machine performance and adjust settings
• follow quality-control procedures
• inspect filled containers
• monitor product weights and adjust filling parameters
• follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents
• participate in safety training
• and coordinate production activities with team members, supervisors, quality assurance, and maintenance.
