Senior Swim Instructor

The Senior Swim Instructor works onsite in Bellmore, NY, for $19–$21 per hour. SafeSplash’s role supports safe, engaging swim instruction and a strong experience for students, parents, and staff. The position oversees instructor training and continued education while helping maintain lesson quality, safety, and curriculum standards. It coaches instructors, tracks required certifications and training milestones, and works with management to address training needs and customer experience.

What you'll do

• Train new staff and provide ongoing team training
• track onboarding, certifications, in-services, renewals, and development milestones
• supervise instructors and lifeguards for lesson quality and safety compliance
• coach and mentor instructors in and out of the water
• conduct quarterly in-services
• provide feedback and evaluations
• collaborate with management on training needs
• report unsafe activities, equipment, or instruction
• address customer inquiries and support communication with parents about swimmer progress.
