Prescription Coordinator

What you'll do

• Process medication refills, renewals, and changes
• route requests according to provider instructions and clinic protocols
• monitor turnaround times
• maintain prescription documentation in the EMR
• initiate and track prior authorizations
• communicate with insurers, providers, clinical staff, patients, and pharmacies
• resolve prescription concerns and access barriers
• protect patient confidentiality and maintain accurate records.
