Custom Crate Fabrication and Logistics Technician

Job overview

The Custom Crate Fabrication and Logistics Technician role is onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI, with pay of $20–$30 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime available. The technician reports to the Production Manager and helps ensure customer orders are protected, documented, and shipped on time.

What you'll do

• Build custom wood crates for machines
• box, crate, and shrink-wrap orders
• load and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jack
• inspect incoming materials and verify bills of lading, quantities, and quality
• stage materials for production
• operate a bander
• apply shipping and handling labels
• complete shipping and receiving paperwork
• maintain an orderly work area
• process recyclable materials
• open overseas crates
• use skid-building tools
• and perform routine property maintenance and occasional snow removal.
