What you'll do

• The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards.
• The MRI Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
• Compassionately assist and position patients.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology

Experience

2-3 years MRI experience preferred
