DevSecOps Engineer

The DevSecOps Engineer role is onsite in Sparks, MD, with compensation of $90.00–$97.00 per hour. The role supports the Advanced Diagnostics R&D software development team, whose products and instruments are used to diagnose infectious diseases. This engineer integrates security throughout the software development lifecycle by building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, embedding security checks, and working with development teams on secure, reliable delivery. The role also supports vulnerability management, incident response, and adherence to FDA regulations and client quality systems.

What you'll do

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools
• build, maintain, troubleshoot, and document CI/CD pipelines
• integrate automated scanning, static analysis, and security compliance checks
• monitor security posture and support vulnerability management and incident response
• collaborate with development teams on secure build, deployment, and operational practices
• develop technical solutions and adhere to FDA regulations and client quality systems.
