CT Technologist – Weekend Days

The CT Technologist – Weekend Days role is onsite in Concord, NC, with a Friday–Sunday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; call and holiday rotation are required. Compensation is not specified. The role is based at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a regional not-for-profit hospital providing inpatient and outpatient care. The technologist performs CT procedures according to departmental protocols, operating scanners and related equipment while preparing and supporting patients. Accurate imaging, patient safety, and coordination with radiologists and other clinical staff contribute to timely diagnostic care.

What you'll do

• Verify imaging orders and clarify discrepancies with radiologists or ordering providers
• identify and prepare patients, obtain relevant history, and document information
• operate CT scanners and related equipment
• prepare and administer IV contrast according to protocols
• evaluate image quality and produce additional images or measurements as instructed
• provide basic patient care and respond to emergencies
• assist with invasive procedures using sterile technique
• follow radiation safety and infection control requirements
• document procedures and maintain the work area.
